DESEi+d 2023: Innovation in Defense and Security with GREEN
Last November, we participated in the X National Congress of R&D in Defense and Security (DESEi+d 2023), a key event in the field of technological innovation for defense. Held at the Marine Infantry School “General Albacete y Fuster” in Cartagena, the congress brought together agents from the Defense Technological and Industrial Base to share the latest advances in research and development.
At this prestigious forum, we presented our proposal entitled “Blockchain-based Federated Learning for Logistics and Arsenals Management”, an initiative that relies on the technologies developed in the GREEN project.
GREEN: Revolutionizing Military Logistics
Under the direction of Roberto G.E. Martín and with the presentation by Sergio Zaera Mata, GREEN was highlighted as a disruptive solution to optimize logistics and stockpile management in critical environments. By integrating Federated Learning, Blockchain and Smart Contracts, GREEN enables:
Accurate forecasting of inventory demand.
Real-time logistics optimization.
Secure multi-agent collaboration without compromising data privacy.
These capabilities not only improve operational efficiency, but also have a strategic impact on military planning, contributing to greater security and effectiveness in resource deployment.
